Linksys®, a leader in home and business networking solutions, today announced it will showcase its unparalleled consumer and business offerings at GITEX Technology Week 2017, with an emphasis on SMB competitiveness, serious gaming and the regional take-up of mesh networks.

SMEs count for 95% of the total enterprise population in Dubai, employing around 42% of Dubai’s workforce and contributing 40% the emirate’s GDP, according to Dubai SME’s report on The State of Small and Medium Enterprises in Dubai.

For years, Linksys has delivered state-of-the-art products and solutions at breakthrough price points, enabling SMB customers and partners in the region to benefit from the same advanced technology as firms many times their size. By continuing to invest in enhancing its SMB networking product business and the channel partner programs, it is helping the region’s SMBs to punch above their weight.

A long-standing exhibitor at GITEX, Linksys will support the growth of the SMB market by delivering enterprise-class products at SMB prices. Its stand at the trade fair will showcase updates to its extensive product portfolio and shed light on forthcoming innovative solutions.

Furthermore, Linksys will unveil the new Linksys Channel Partner program – a custom-built initiative to equip partners with a rich supply of resources and training materials they can use to dramatically boost their profitability.

“Middle East businesses are early adopters of the most innovative technology and is a hub for emerging smart cities,” said Amanullah Khan, Managing Director, Linksys, Middle East, Turkey & Africa, a global leader in networking solutions for the home and business.

As the region’s most advance technology show, GITEX will also be a platform for the regional debut of the Linksys WRT™ gaming edition router – the WRT32X. Incorporating the Killer Prioritization Engine (KPE), this revolutionary router for serious online gamers resulted from an exclusive collaboration between Linksys and Rivet Networks, delivering high-speed gaming through optimizing traffic for 77% less lag and peak ping times.

Linksys is one of the first brands to bring mesh technology to the Middle East in March 2017 and since then the region has seen rapid adoption with the ease of use, robust performance, simple setup and elegant design. Senior executives will use GITEX as a platform to share insights into the state of mesh network adoption and the future of home networking.

Linksys will exhibit in Hall 2 under the ‘Gulf Comms’ category at GITEX Technology Week 2017, which runs at Dubai World Trade Centre from 8-12 October.
