Dubai Industrial Park (DI), the industrial district within Dubai Wholesale City (DWSC), announced that Al Fares International Group (Al Fares), a leading UAE-based supplier of tents and mobile structures, is the latest entity to join DI’s community of business partners.
In addition to locating its headquarters at DI, Al Fares is also launching a central warehouse and four manufacturing facilities, with an initial investment of AED60 million.
Reinforcing the partnership, Abdulla Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Wholesale City, signed an agreement with Fares Hussein Albaddad, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Al Fares International Group, in the presence of Saud Abu Al-Shawareb, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Industrial Park, Hussein Fares Albaddad, Managing Director, and Hasan Fares Albaddad, General Manager of Al Fares International Group.
Earmarked for completion in mid-2020 and spanning an area of over one million square feet, the new premises will accommodate a workforce of more than 500 employees. As per Al Fares’s phased master plan, phase one includes the headquarters spreading over 13,000 square feet, while the central warehouse will cover 38,000 square feet. In addition, the company will operate four manufacturing facilities, each spanning 75,000 square feet, equipped with advanced machinery.
As part of its planned expansion, the development of phase two will be carried out across an additional 300,000 square feet of industrial land in 2019.

Al Fares International Group has supplied custom-made tents and marquees for prestigious events in the UAE, including the Al Dhafra Festival in Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi Science Festival, Ironman 70.3 Dubai, and INNOVATOR in Abu Dhabi.
