Ras Al Khaimah - MENA Herald:

ARBURG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastic processing machineries, has recently celebrated its Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) branch office’s 10th year anniversary. An exclusive anniversary dinner was held in Marina Island, Dubai, which was attended by ARBURG’s top executives from its headquarters in Germany, as well as its VIP clients and strategic partners.

Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, was also present in ARBURG’s anniversary celebration, showing the economic zone’s strong support to the company.

“Back in 2008, we have established a branch at RAKEZ to enhance the level of the pre- and after-sale support that we are providing our clients in the GCC region. Today, I am happy to say that we have achieved this goal, and that our RAKEZ branch has become a vital part of ARBURG’s overall operations,” said Joachim Branz, General Manager of ARBURG (RAKEZ Branch). “RAKEZ is recognised in Germany for its strong commitment to supporting businesses through its simplified processes and premier services, and that reputation definitely holds true. It’s easy to do business here. RAKEZ allows us to focus on serving our clients; this is really important for us.”

Commenting on ARBURG’s milestone, Mr Jallad said: “On behalf of everyone at RAKEZ, I would like to congratulate ARBURG on its 10th year anniversary in our ecosystem. All of our efforts are geared towards creating an ideal environment for all types of businesses. So, it is always heart-warming when we see our clients flourishing and staying long in the business. We wish ARBURG more success, and we hope that you continue growing with us.”

Founded in Lossburg, Germany in 1923, ARBURG recorded a consolidated turnover of EUR 698 million in 2017. Its main factory spreads to 171,000 m², and it has 33 international offices. These include the RAKEZ branch located in RAKEZ Business Zone, which serves some of the company’s key clients in the GCC, such as Abu Dhabi Polymers, Multi Polymers Plastic Industries (MPPI), Al Aman Gas Cylinders Manufacturing, Alfanar, Polystar Industries, Saudi Ceramics, Woco Tech, Eurocap, Falcon Packaging Equipment, Kromberg & Schumbert Middle East, and Ambletide.
