Dubai Science Park Business Breakfast Embraces Entrepreneurship

Dubai Science Park (DSP), a holistic science-focused community and in5, an enabling platform for entrepreneurs and start-ups, hosted a Business Breakfast this week to highlight the importance of embracing entrepreneurship during Innovation Month. Speakers from strategically important sectors, including technology and renewable energy, highlighted how start-ups are integral to sustainable economic growth and the wider achievement of Dubai’s strategic development and its Vision 2021, fostering innovation and leading to better economic growth.  

Hosted at the DSP Laboratory Complex, the breakfast event welcomed speakers from in5, including the Head of Partnerships and Programmes Rekha Setpal, with presentations on ‘Support for Entrepreneurs in the TECOM Environment’, along with case studies by start-up companies at in5, 3eApps and HeyDoc! who outlined their success stories.

Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Executive Director of Dubai Science Park and Chairing Member of the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Equipment taskforce of the Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030, said: “Part of our mandate at Dubai Science Park is to foster an environment that is conducive to business growth, and enabling start-ups to flourish and maximize their potential at every stage of their life cycle.
