Etisalat today announced the launch of ‘Smiles UAE’, making the popular app – with its wide range of daily deals and lifestyle rewards - accessible to all UAE residents and visitors. The app was previously available only for selected Etisalat customers.
Smiles users will enjoy ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ deals on entertainment, shopping, dining, travel and wellness - with over 500 offers to choose from 350 lifestyle partners covering over 3,000 retail outlets across UAE.
Over 1.5 million unique users currently enrolled in the Smiles programme have been enjoying more than AED 300 million worth of savings.
The Smiles UAE app can be downloaded from iOS App store and Android Play Store. It is free of charge, and available with an inaugural offer of 1,000 free Smiles points on the first transaction.
Khaled Elkhouly, Chief Consumer Officer, Etisalat, said: “Since its launch two years ago, the Smiles app has received an overwhelming response from Etisalat customers. There was a popular demand to make Smiles available for everyone in the UAE, as the app was able to deliver significant value and happiness to its users.”
Smiles UAE also offers a host of features and benefits with the ‘Unlimited Buy 1 Get 1’ subscription at AED20 per month, or AED199 only per year, to get unlimited downloads of discount coupons across all categories at no cost for the duration of the subscription period.
The programme also enables members to fast-track earning points with the ADIB Etisalat Covered Card, with cardholders earning up to four Smiles points for every dirham spent on the card. New cardholders also get up to 70,000 Smiles points as a joining bonus, and a 50 per cent discount on two cinema tickets per week.
