Dubai - MENA Herald:

Noor Bank, a leading Shari’ah-compliant bank in the UAE, has enriched its loyalty, rewards and Savings Account portfolio by announcing a partnership with Emirates Skywards, the award-winning loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai. John Iossifidis, CEO of Noor Bank, and Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, signed the partnership agreement that appoints Emirates Skywards as the bank’s primary points transfer partner.

Noor Bank credit cardholders can now transfer their Reward points to Skywards Miles at a rate of five Reward points to one Skywards Mile. Other details of the Bank’s credit card rewards programme remain unchanged. Customers continue to earn up to 2 Reward points for every AED 1 spent.

As part of the partnership, Noor Bank is also offering the opportunity to open a SkyMiles Account and earn profit in the form of Skywards Miles based on the savings balance. Customers can now earn 5 Skywards Miles for every AED 500 of account balance. This unique move aims to further encourage account holders to save while earning Skywards Miles.

Speaking on the synergy, Iossifidis said: “Customer-centricity has always shaped the rationale behind our products and the benefits we offer our customers. We believe that the ability to transfer Noor Bank reward points to Skywards Miles and also earn Miles on savings adds further value to our product propositions.”

He added: “We are delighted to partner with Emirates Skywards to provide this opportunity to our customers who regularly travel outside the UAE. We hope the new incentive will have a tangible impact on the ways our customers spend and save.”

Commenting on the partnership, Dr Nejib Ben Khedher stated: “We are excited to partner with Noor Bank to offer our customers more avenues to earn Skywards Miles. This fits perfectly with Emirates Skywards’ core aim to deliver increased flexibility, choice and value to our members. Skywards Miles earned through our partnership with Noor Bank can be redeemed on reward flights and upgrades on Emirates, flydubai and other partner airlines, hotel accommodation as well as a variety of retail and other lifestyle experiences across the globe.”

This partnership aligns with Noor Bank’s increased focus on boosting the quality of its loyalty and rewards programmes and liability propositions through collaborations with globally recognised brands that take customer satisfaction to a new level.

Mufazzal Kajiji, Head of Retail Banking at Noor Bank, said: “As part of our mission to deliver outstanding customer experiences, our retail team has spent the past year designing products that differentiate us from our competitors and bringing them to market. With the strategic tie-up, our products are now among the most competitive in the market, with unparalleled benefits for the premium and affluent segment.
