Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald:

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company(ADNEC) has finished preparations as it prepares to host the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) to its halls from 14 to 17 January.

Serving as a platform where governments, corporations, entrepreneurs and investors can share knowledge and solutions to the world’s growing energy challenges, WFES 2019 expects over 850 exhibitors and representatives from over 170 countries to participate in the events scheduled over the four days.

With separate pillars of Energy, Water, EcoWaste, Solar, Green Buildings and Mobility on the agenda this year, WFES 2019 will present a variety of topics for discussion through the diverse platforms it will host, including The Future Sustainability Summit (formerly the WFES Conference), WFES Expo, WFES Forums, CLIX (Climate Innovations Exchange), and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum, among others.

On offer for attendees during the event once again will be the Sustainability Business Connect networking platform that provides a variety of targeted opportunities for visitors to make that right connection. With an estimated 10,000 meetings facilitated at WFES 2018, attendees and delegates are encouraged to make use of this service to help plan their meetings ahead of time.

Onsite registration for the event is available at ADNEC Hall 1. Guests registering online at https://www.worldfutureenergysummit.com will be able to also retrieve their accreditations at ADNEC Hall 1, with ushers helping them navigate the Fast Track/E-Badge terminals.

WFES is a part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), the largest sustainability gathering in the Middle East. Hosted by Masdar and principal partner Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, ADSW’s goal is to further the understanding of the world regarding the social, economic and environmental trends shaping sustainable development and to aid in developing viable strategies to mitigate climate change. ADSW examines relationships between economic development, poverty eradication, energy security, water scarcity and climate change as part of a global energy challenge that cannot be overlooked.

Visitors will be able to keep track of speakers, programmes, exhibitor information and stand-related information through an interactive floor plan on the ADSW mobile app that is available on the Apple Store and Google Play. Visitors will also be able to personalise their schedules throughout the event via the mobile app.
