This weekend, be prepared for a jam-packed schedule of exciting events, ongoing sales, entertainment and activities with Dubai Summer Surprises. Here, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) shares a round-up of some of the best ways to keep cool and escape the summer heat:

LEISURE AND ENTERTAINMENT

  • Enjoy a fun-filled weekend at Modhesh World, the region’s popular family edutainment destination, which is offering families and kids fun activities across a variety of themed zones. The free-to-enter Modhesh World is located at Halls 3-7 of the Dubai World Trade Centre and is open from 12pm to 10pm on Thursday, and 11am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
  • Families looking to keep their kids entertained can head to City Centre Deira for their last chance to see the famous ‘Justice League’ superheroes show. Join Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash on a journey to defend the earth until 6 July.
  • Catch a show at Dubai Festival City Mall this weekend as Kids Rock festival puts on daily stage performances and interactive workshops for the entire family to enjoy. Engage with a host of famous stars from PJ Masks, including Catboy, Gekko, Owlette, and Luna Girl.
  • The family favourite destination, Ripe Market, has returned to Dubai once again at Dubai Festival City Mall. Head down this weekend to shop from a variety of local designers and feast at food trucks.
  • Dubai Sports World offers fitness enthusiasts a weekend of action-packed sporting events suitable for all ages. Everyone can escape the heat and head to Dubai World Trade Centre to enjoy the many different activities and experiences.
  • Head to Wild Wadi Waterpark this Friday, where GCC residents over 1.1 meters tall can enter for AED 249 only, while under is AED 149 only. This offer is inclusive of a tasty meal, redeemable at the Julshan’s Burger and Dogs inside the waterpark.
