ZULEKHA HOSPITAL AND AL SHARQ HOSPITAL SIGN MoU EXTENDING TERTIARY CARE AND MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE EAST COAST AND SOUTHERN REGION

Zulekha Hospital Sharjah and Al Sharq Hospital Fujairah, have announced a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The aim of the MoU is to extend tertiary care services to support people in medical need from the East coast and the southern region in the UAE and to provide 24/7 comprehensive medical care in  emergency & non-emergency situations. Both Hospitals will be extending their services, including open heart procedures, to the referred patients with suitable medical services, including diagnosis and medication.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Wagdi Zayed, deputy CEO of Al Sharq Healthcare Group and Dr. Ramesh Raju, Senior Director of Administration, Zulekha Healthcare Group in presence of higher management officials from both sides.

Managing Director, Mr. Taher Shams commented: “It gives us great pleasure to be able to extend our services to the patients of Al Sharq Hospital which enables them to have easier access to our world-class healthcare facilities. Through recent services including a Device Clinic, we hope to cater to patients who have had implants as well and need the right guidance at the right time. At Zulekha Healthcare Group, we are committed to improving the quality and efficiency of the healthcare sector in the UAE.”

The MoU will see patients from Fujairah referred to Zulekha Healthcare Group’s facilities to receive excellent medical attention and treatment as and when required.  Zulekha Hospital will offer the availability of open Heart Surgery Team.
