Second Nobel Museum Exhibition concludes on successful note after three months of knowledge enriching activities

Dubai - MENA Herald: Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) – a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives – concluded the activities of the second Nobel Museum Exhibition, which was organised over nearly three months from February 21 to May 30 at Children's City in Dubai Creek Park under the theme, ‘Exploring life: the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology’.
As part of the concluding ceremony, MBRF honoured the sponsors of the exhibition, including entities from the public and private sectors as well as the media, in recognition of their support and contribution to the success of the event. The sponsors of the exhibition were Dubai Municipality, Arabian Radio Network, Turkish Airlines, Al-Futtaim Motors, Hills Advertising Co, Aramex, Al Zahra Hospital, Paris Gallery, Sky News, National Geographic Abu Dhabi, Dubai Channels Network, CNBC Arabia, CNN Arabic, Al Bayan, Emarat Al Youm and Al-Ittihad.
Earlier, the Foundation announced that the Nobel Museum Exhibition would be hosted in a number of cities in the UAE as well as other Arab and Islamic countries based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to extend the reach of the exhibition to various Arab and Islamic countries to enrich the knowledge of the young generation in these countries.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Managing Director of MBRF, said: The Nobel Museum Exhibition turned out to be a major success for the second consecutive year under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Foundation. The event was another significant step for MBRF in its efforts to enrich knowledge among all sections of the society, especially students, academics, scientists and specialists in key areas. It attracted considerable attention with its innovative and interactive presentations, highlighting Dubai’s unique capability to host events that stimulate the concepts of innovation and creativity in communities and encourage future generations to embrace knowledge.”
HE Bin Huwaireb said the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to host the future sessions of the Nobel Museum Exhibition in the cities of the UAE as well as other Arab and Islamic countries is a major responsibility and a great motivation for MBRF to develop and expand the Nobel Museum Exhibition initiative as a landmark event that contributes to knowledge development in the region in the coming years.
HE Bin Huwaireb attributed the success of the exhibition to the sincere cooperation and unlimited support extended by all the sponsors of the event, from the public and private sectors as well as the media. He also commended the tireless efforts put in by all the members of the Nobel Museum Exhibition 2016 team to organise the event in accordance with international best standards, making Dubai the first Arab destination to host this prestigious event.
Nobel Museum Exhibition in its second year featured seven sections offering insights on a number of issues in an interactive manner. As part of the event, MBRF organized the ‘Nobel Prize Series 2016’ event, which included special panel sessions and lectures aimed at promoting the concepts of creativity and innovation among young people, students, and encouraging them to take up scientific research. On the sidelines of the Nobel Museum Exhibition 2016, the Foundation also held three workshops led by specialists from the Nobel Foundation.
