Dubai - MENA Herald: EMC today announced that the company has been awarded the STC Innovation Award 2015 for the transformation driven approach to technology and consulting.
The announcement was made at the STC Vendors Day, a bi-annual event, bringing STC together with its larger community of vendors and partners. The fourth edition of the STC Vendors Day took place in the presence of Dr. Khalid Bin Hussain Al-Biyari, CEO of STC along with Mr. Cyrill Pourrat, VP of Procurement & Support Services, and Mr. Jawad Chaudhary, Head of IT Procurement.
Celebrated every two years, the awards aim to recognize vendor excellence and highlight strong relationships between STC teams and different vendors. The 2015 edition of the awards consisted of three key categories- Value-added, Innovation and Cooperation.
EMC was recognized for their market leading technologies that are designed to help organizations establish an agile foundation to transform IT and business operations in an era of increasing mobility and digitization.
On the occasion, STC congratulated EMC for their innovation backed approach to technology, consulting and services, helping organizations identify the right combination of solutions to cater to the changing needs of customers in this information driven generation.
In recent months, EMC and STC have announced a number of strategic initiatives including a landmark cloud computing agreement aimed at enabling STC and its customers to power scalability, agility and cost efficiency. In addition, the two companies came together to announce the STC Building Capabilities Program that is designed in collaboration with EMC Education Services division. The program built on EMC’s value based Knowledge and Skills Analysis Service is aimed to help identify any gaps in knowledge and training to achieve defined business objectives and better support existing and planned IT deployments.
