‘Digital Signage’ to grow exponentially in 2017 across the UAE and the Middle East region: IEC

Dubai MENA Herald: International Expo Consults (IEC) part of Falak Holding, stated that the ‘Digital Signage’ industry is slated to grow exponentially in 2017 across the UAE and the Middle East region and is set to propel the retail sector. SGI Dubai is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in the region to cater to the needs of exhibitors and visitors in the signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries. The show is being currently held at the Dubai World Trade Center – Halls 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 till 17th January 2017.

Due to the upcoming projects and future developments in the region and globally, the international digital signage market is set to experience an upsurge and expected to touch US$20 billion by 2020. As per reports, the UAE digital signage market alone is pegged to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of around 23% during 2014 - 2019.

SGI Dubai 2017 has several innovative digital signage products on display, for both outdoor and indoor deployment.

Also for the first time at SGI, Canon will showcase their XEED range of projectors range, offering full solutions targeting verticals of retail and hospitality. Visitors at the stand will be able experience a digital interactive wall which will have multiple projection through XEED WUX450ST (short throw) along with motion sensors, a digital mannequin where visitors can choose products and the digital mannequin would elaborate in detail and floor projections with content flowing on the floor with minimal installation cost and maximum usage of retail space.

Being the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East, SGI Dubai has exhibitors and visitors from across the world who mutually stand to benefit from each other’s presence.
