Sandooq Al Watan Celebrates 88 Graduates from the 1st Edition of the ‘Emirati Coder’ Programme

Sandooq Al Watan, the national initiative launched by prominent Emirati businessmen to support research projects for the post-oil era, celebrated the first batch of graduates from its “Emirati Coder” programme in a ceremony held at the Ajman Saray Hotel.

The programme is organised in collaboration with Dark Matter Group (through its affiliate, Ajyal Talent Management) and Ajman Youth Center, in strategic partnership with Ajman Digital Government. It seeks to educate a generation of professionals fluent in programming languages (the “language of the future”).

The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department of Municipality and Planning, Chairman of the Higher Committee for Digital Transformation; and His Excellency Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of Sandooq Al Watan; along with a number of officials and executives from organisations involved in the initiative.
