Dubai - MENA Herald:

Jetex Flight Support is proud to reveal its consolidated growth program ahead of the Dubai Airshow next month. The global leader in executive aviation, Jetex, is recognized for delivering flexible, best-in-class trip support solutions to customers worldwide. 2017 has been a time of expansion for the brand, with new market entries in Brazil, Italy and Spain. This dynamic news follows hot on the heels of the opening of the FBO Terminal Dubai at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC/OMDW) in December 2016.

Since launching in 2005, the Jetex team of dedicated industry experts has been delivering personalized solutions and redefining luxury travel to valued customers across the world, currently offering a wide range of unique and bespoke services including a network of FBOs (fixed-based operators), trip planning, fueling and on-ground support in over 30 countries. Today, Jetex is delighted to expand in the Southern American market with its announcement that it will open a new private jet terminal in São Paolo, allowing elite travelers the opportunity to fly with discretion and speed, avoiding the commercial terminal currently in use. Initially operating from a temporary facility, the purpose-built terminal is set to open in mid-2018. This announcement underlines Jetex’s global network and trend for innovation and market leading capabilities.

"We are delighted with the reach and momentum of our 2017 growth. With over ten years of market experience, it is our hope that Jetex continues to grow to have a presence in all key aviation markets to best serve the needs of our highly discerning international clientele. Our iconic facilities shatter expectations of traditional FBOs by bringing upscale contemporary interior design and 5-star hospitality to the aviation arena. These openings underline our mission to provide the highest level of care and comfort to all of our guests," said Jetex CEO & President, Adel Mardini.

In May 2017, Jetex Flight Support marked another major milestone in its growth history with the announcement of a successful tender to provide FBO services at Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport (CIA/LIRA) in Rome, Italy. As Rome’s main hub for general aviation (GA), Ciampino Airport consistently ranks on the list of top 10 busiest GA airports in Europe. Ciampino saw an average daily departure rate of 21.1 GA flights in 2016, reflecting its position at the heart of Italian business aviation. Set to open in the second quarter of 2018, the Rome FBO will herald Jetex’s entry to the Italian market.

In the same month Jetex Flight Support made its first venture into Spain with the opening of ground handling stations in two new locations; one in Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCM/LEBL) and one in Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP/LEMG), as well as one FBO in Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD/LEMD). The new Spanish facilities further expand Jetex’s European network.  Operating from the general aviation terminal at each airport, Jetex will provide 24/7 ground support including but not limited to aircraft fueling, ground handling, aircraft parking, and ramp services. Customs and immigrations facilities and hangar space are also available.

At the end of 2016, Jetex FBO Terminal Dubai was opened at its new location. It is the largest FBO in a city that plays a core role in the Jetex story. Located at Al Maktoum International Airport in the recently rebranded Dubai South Aviation District, this new terminal is also the largest in the Jetex global portfolio.

Jetex recently celebrated winning FBO of the Year at the Aviation Business Awards 2017 and has once again been appointed the official FBO and handler of the upcoming Dubai Air Show 2017 (12-16 November 2017).
