Dubai - MENA Herald: Dr Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director of axs, the smart gateway for integrated government and corporate services launched by TECOM Group, presented a case study in smart management solutions at the 23rd Smart Government & Smart Cities Conference held in Dubai this week.
In a session entitled ‘axs: Supporting Business Partners with Smart Solutions’, Dr Kazim outlined axs’ offering to its business partners across TECOM Group whilst highlighting operational achievements as a first of its kind digital platform providing over 200 government and corporate support services.
Dr Kazim commented: “This week’s conference provided an ideal platform from which to showcase axs and the business benefits we deliver as well as support for the ease of doing business in the region. The smart management lessons we shared demonstrate how we are aligned with Dubai’s ambition to become the world's smartest city.”
In addition to providing an overview of axs services and key achievements, Dr Kazim shared lessons and insights on digitalisation efforts in Dubai, drawing from the big data analytics from the axs’ interactive portal.
Dr Kazim added: “Events like the SGSC conference are very important to the best practice exchange in our region. The ongoing digital transformation efforts indicate that Dubai is on the right track in utilising the state-of-the-art smart governance solutions like data analytics and smart services. Such initiatives thus enhance innovation-led economic growth and consolidate the foundations of smart government which have made Dubai a thriving example regionally and globally.”
The five-day event brought together industry experts, thought leaders and academics to explore the future of smart governance and discuss smart transformation strategies.
