United Arab Bank appoints Ahmad Abu Eideh as its Chief Executive Officer

United Arab Bank (UAB) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Abu Eideh as its Chief Executive Officer, effective March 10th 2019. This appointment comes as part of the bank's efforts to develop its services and provide more benefits to its customers, as well as achieving sustainable revenue for its shareholders.

HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Sultan Bin Salem Al Qassimi, Chairman of United Arab Bank expressed the bank’s welcome to Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Abu Eideh and congratulated him for joining the UAB Family. He anticipated that Abu Eideh will become a promising and valuable addition to the senior management team at the bank.

Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Abu Eideh, who previously held the position of CEO at Standard Chartered Bank Middle East (Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and Lebanon), expressed his pride in joining United Arab Bank. He pointed out that the trust that UAB’s board have placed in his capabilities only increases his determination to achieve the bank's vision of enhancing its value, and to meet the expectations of the bank’s shareholders and customers.

Abu Eideh affirmed his intention to achieve more growth and profit, expand banking operations in the UAE and the region, solidify the bank’s leadership status, and provide the highest quality products and services that satisfy the needs and exceed the expectations of the bank’s customers.

Abu Eideh has more than 27 years of experience in the field of banking and finance, 15 of which were spent in the UAE. During his successful career that was filled with achievements, he has held a number of senior positions in leading financial institutions in the UAE and other countries in the region.
