ALVAREZ & MARSAL MEETS INCREASING DEMAND FOR BUSINESS IN KSA WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENT

Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces the continuing expansion of its Middle East team with the appointment of Saudi national Dina Abo-Onoq, who is recognized as one of the first Saudi women to reach executive status as a director of a number of global financial services institutions.

Joining as Chief Country Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ms. Abo-Onoq’s appointment dovetails with growing demand for A&M’s services in the Kingdom and further aligns the firm with the Kingdom’s future vision and Saudization efforts. Ms. Abo-Onoq is the first Saudi woman to be named as a Chief Country Manager for a professional services firm such as A&M.

Ms. Abo-Onoq has over 18 years of experience in the wealth management industry, advising corporate executives and high net-worth clients. At A&M she will be responsible for building and cultivating client relationships and growing the firm’s presence in the Kingdom.

Before joining A&M, Ms. Abo-Onoq was Head of Business Development for CA Indosuez Wealth Management. Prior to that role, she was Director of Business Development for LGT, the private banking and asset management group. Ms. Abo-Onoq also spent five years at Merrill Lynch in Saudi Arabia, and three years with BNP Paribas.
