Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the region's leading financial market, concluded its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2017 today, where it showcased some of the most innovative electronic services and applications being introduced to the market as part of ADX’s ongoing efforts to support the government’s smart services transformation and meet the evolving needs of dealers and investors.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) received over 500 visitors during the event and hosted 10 competitions, giving attendees the chance to win a range of prizes including Apple smartwatches, iPads and iPhone 8s.
Rashed Al Blooshi, Chief Executive of ADX, stressed the importance of participating in GITEX, which provides a regional and global platform for the financial market to highlight its latest services and applications, and connect with various public and private sector institutions to share experiences and knowledge. HE said: "We have made significant strides in upgrading our electronic and smart services in recent years, surpassing our regional and international peers. This progress has been achieved through the efforts of our team in assessing the evolving needs of our investor-base and investing in solutions and services that facilitate their transactions and meet their requirements.”

ADX is committed to supporting the government’s efforts to drive digital advancement, establish a knowledge-based economy and enhance government integration through technology. During GITEX Technology Week 2017, ADX showcased a range of digital technologies, including the smart phone application, My ADX, for employees, as well as its smart application for investors and smart watch application. ADX also provided visitors with the opportunity to learn more about its Blockchain-powered e-Voting platform as well as its business intelligence e-system and virtual trading smart project, in addition to new developments to ADX’s eKtetab platform and website.
