ADIB receives seven achievement and one House awards from EMEA Finance

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading financial institution, received eight prestigious awards from EMEA Finance, including both house and deal accolades, at the Achievement Awards 2018.

ADIB received the “Best Islamic Finance House” award for a second consecutive year, highlighting ADIB’s financial acumen and deep commitment to the development of Islamic finance in capital markets.

The bank also won seven other categories: “Best Financial Institution Sukuk” for its US$750mn Tier 1 perpetual sukuk; “Best Islamic Borrower” and “Most Innovative Islamic Facility”, for ADIB’s work with Emirates Steel Industrial on its $ 400mn facility; “Best Syndicated Ijara Facility”; “Best Syndicated Murabaha facility” for United Eastern Medical’s AED750mn facility; “Best Corporate Sukuk” (under US$500mn) for NMC Healthcare’s US$400mn five year sukuk; and “Best Green Sukuk” for ADIB’s landmark role in Indonesia’s US$1.25bn five year green sukuk, the world’s first green sukuk.
