ADCB partners with Xpress Money to offer international Account Credit services to 14 countries from the UAE

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Xpress Money, one of the most dependable money transfer brands in the world, has partnered with ADCB - one of UAE’s biggest banks - to offer international remittance services to ADCB customers through the bank’s existing mobile banking app (available on iOS, Android and Blackberry*). The partnership provides exclusive benefits to ADCB customers to make hassle-free international money transfers through the app by simply tapping on 'Transfer Money' and selecting 'Xpress Money Global Money Transfer' as their preferred channel. Once the transfer has been requested by an ADCB customer through the mobile app, the Xpress Money platform takes over to deliver the transaction, and credits the target bank account.
The move extends ADCB’s international money transfer reach to 14 countries to begin with, through Xpress Money’s existing network and partnerships in those territories. The first phase of the collaboration allows ADCB customers to make international bank account transfers to Bangladesh, Bhutan, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. More countries will be added soon.

The collaboration sees ADCB adapt to Xpress Money’s innovative plug and play fintech solution, where the proprietary API serves as an ideal platform for any firm to plug seamlessly into the money transfer business. The API has been designed to be flexible and extremely compatible with most systems, allowing new partners to be on-boarded with ease.

The new Xpress Money service, along with the existing convenient banking services made available on the ADCB app, will strengthen the mobile banking proposition and further enhance the customer’s convenience.
