Dubai - MENA Herald:

The Sustainable City - the Middle East’s first fully fledged sustainable development – has won four top honours at the Arabian Property Awards 2017, including the coveted ‘Best Residential Development’ and ‘Best Residential property’ titles for the second year running, as well as the ‘Best Mixed-Use Development’ and ‘Best Public Service Development’ awards for the first time.

Diamond Developers representatives Faris Saeed, the CEO, and Wassim Adlouni, Executive Director, received the accolades on behalf of the company at an awards ceremony and gala dinner held last week.

Faris Saeed, CEO of Diamond Developers – the property and real estate developer behind The Sustainable City – commented: “At The Sustainable City, above all, we want to offer our residents an exceptional quality of life and support our government’s vision by putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do. To be recognised with these accolades is hugely rewarding because it demonstrates that we have succeeded in this mission by making our city the best and most socially responsible development in Dubai. The awards motivate our team more than ever to continue to drive the UAE’s journey toward a more sustainable future.”

So far this year, The Sustainable City has already received other top awards including the ‘Happiest Community’ at the inaugural Gulf Real Estate Awards hosted in April 2017. The community stands as a unique blueprint for sustainable, clean and responsible living that supports the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy and the Dubai Plan 2021.
