Dubai Land Department is main sponsor of ‘Azerbaijan RecExpo 2018’

Dubai Land Department (DLD) the main sponsor of ‘RecExpo 2018,’ organised the fourth edition of the event in Baku — capital of Azerbaijan — for three days at the ‘Baku Expo Center.’ The event complements the local economy in Azerbaijan and the growing demand for foreign investment.

The RecExpo is considered the only international real estate exhibition to be held in Azerbaijan, witnessing participation from leading international companies from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Montenegro, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, and the USA, and attracting thousands of visitors looking for best investment opportunities in the world's leading destinations.

His Excellency Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said: “We are pleased to participate in this distinguished event and to provide support to our local companies that are offering a diverse portfolio of real estate projects, showcasing the excellence of our sector and the opportunities and facilities our city presents for investors and buyers who prefer Dubai over all other global destinations.”

Her Excellency Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector at DLD, commented: “Our participation in this year's edition, which hosted more than 250 real estate projects, aims to connect exhibitors from these countries with thousands of receptive real estate investors looking for the best investment opportunities in Dubai.”

Rashid added: “Our sponsorship of this event reflects our commitment to promoting our real estate market, contributing to the growth of the sector, and highlighting Dubai's distinctive brand, especially with the upcoming EXPO 2020. In addition, we are fully aware of the importance of the Azerbaijani capital Baku as a focal point to reaching potential investors in the region, where Russian-speaking buyers ranked high on the list of nationalities that invested most in the Dubai real estate market."

The real estate event showcases a diverse portfolio of projects and on-site sales for hundreds of global projects to meet the growing demand for real estate and investment from Azerbaijan and neighbouring countries.

RecExpo remains is considered one of the largest and most influential real estate exhibitions in the region. The 2017 edition attracted more than 92 exhibitors, representing companies from 13 countries, and more than 6,340 visitors from around the region. Participants attended RecExpo to explore new markets, exchange investment ideas with the world’s sector players, and to stay connected to trends and new real estate projects.
