Dubai - MENA Herald:

Dubai-based developer Omniyat has announced that the build on its  luxury One Palm development has topped out ahead of schedule, making it the tallest private residence on the Palm Jumeirah.

Situated in a prime plot on the eastern tip of the iconic Palm Jumeirah’s trunk, One Palm is set to become the most luxurious residences in Dubai with each one of the 90 units offering incredible views of Dubai Marina’s skyline and the Arabian Gulf.

The 910,000-sq ft design-led project is rapidly shaping up to become a unique architectural statement unlike anything else in the region. It includes three-, four- and five-bedroom residences and three triplex penthouses. The building's architecture, which includes double and triple height spaces and dramatic cantilevers, provides unique outdoor living spaces and beautiful sanctuaries. A private jetty will allow residents to conveniently dock their yachts.

The topping out news, announced ahead of Cityscape 2017, also revealed that the build had to be adjusted at a late stage to include one buyer’s unique request. The customer asked that a 20-metre swimming pool was included on the roof of his penthouse apartment, so that he could continue his morning laps routine. Accommodating the request, the pool was included as the topping out process continued.

Omniyat often includes bespoke requests on its prestigious projects. With prices for a three-bed apartment in One Palm starting at around AED 12.5 million, buyers of these one-off properties know what they want.

Mahdi Amjad, founder and CEO of Omniyat, said: “The topping out of One Palm ahead of schedule is testament to our team and partners who have worked tirelessly to bring this incredible building to life. From this point on we now look forward handing over the keys to our first customers and the official opening.

“In order to realise the world’s most luxurious residential building, we have chosen only the finest talent in the disciplines of landscaping, architecture, construction, interior design and amenities to ensure that every last detail is exactly what the most discerning buyers would expect from a development such as this.”

Due for completion in 2018, One Palm has worked with the best designers in the world to create a truly unique project. Each residence will be a statement of personal taste with owners able to choose their interior and finishes from two of the world’s most esteemed designers to match their individual style.

Buyers will be able to pick from interiors designed by either Japanese firm Super Potato, known for its chic and modern fit-outs, or the opulent rich textures of London-based luxury design studio Elicyon, famed for its involvement in the renowned One Hyde Park building.

One Palm will be equipped with an unrivalled range of amenities and facilities to cater to its residents. The One Palm Clubhouse will include a fine-dining restaurant, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor cinema, outdoor cinema and BBQ area, residents lounge, children's pool and playroom and a luxury spa.

Despite just topping out, One Palm has already been recognised for its interior design-led approach as it picked up a coveted award at this week’s prestigious International Property Awards.

The Interior Design Apartment category for Dubai was a hotly contested sector at the IPAX Africa & Arabia awards evening. But despite the strong competition, the judges found One Palm’s style befitting of the award – a testament that this project will be one of the city’s most talked about builds and a new globally-recognised flagship building for Dubai.
