Fine Hygienic Holding Signs Agreement with Labor Union

Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygienic paper products,recently signed a collective agreement with the General Trade Union of Printing, Photography, and Paper workers, which guarantees annual wage increases for the employeesacross all companies within FHH in Jordan, effective April 1, 2018. This agreement serves to recognize and benefit the employees who work tirelessly toproduce and sellFine’s high quality hygienic paper products, ensuring that they receive fair compensation for their efforts.

Along with increased salaries for employees, the agreement also sets forth a plan for increased coordination and cooperation on many key areas related to Fine’s manufacturing operations. This includes a review of all health and safety protocolin addition to workplace facilities and services, as well as collaborative efforts to reduce operational costs and increase productivity.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of the General Trade Union of Printing, Photography, and Paper Employees, Mohammad Al Zoubi, said, “Our union has a long history of serving the interests of our members, and we are proud to continue doing everything in our power to make sure that they are treated fairly and equitably by their employers. Having worked closely with Fine for many years now, we are proud to see their ongoing commitment to best management practices, and their dedication to upholdingour shared values.”
