Al-Futtaim opens dedicated workshop for Hero Motorcycles in the UAE

Dubai - MENA Herald: As part of its ongoing partnership with Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer based out of India, Al-Futtaim has opened the first dedicated workshop for Hero bikes located at Rashidiya in Dubai.

The first Hero showroom was opened in Q4 last year and is located at Airport Road in Deira.

Commenting on behalf of Al-Futtaim, Colin Cordery, said: “The opening of the new Hero service centre is a further testament to the importance we place in our partnership with Hero MotoCorp. Since its launch, we’ve seen strong interest in the brand and its products and with the new service centre, customers can be assured of receiving industry benchmarked after sales service.”

Present at the opening were Colin Cordery and Rajasingh Gulati from Al-Futtaim and Rajat Bhargava, Assistant Vice President and Head of Global Business, Deepak Mokashi, Advisor, Malo Le Masson, Head Global Product Planning, and Parag Aggarwal, Head Marketing and New Product Development from Hero MotoCorp.

While the UAE has been a new market for Hero MotoCorp, it sold over 6.63 million two-wheelers in its last financial year, and over 70 million motorcycles and scooters in cumulative sales.
