GE and the Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water inaugurate ‘Dissolved Gas Analysis Monitoring Center’

GE and the Ministry of Electricity and Water today opened a dedicated Dissolved Gas Analysis Monitoring Center in Sabhan Industrial Area, Kuwait that will deploy the company’s advanced digital industrial solutions to help partners achieve unprecedented levels of operational efficiency and productivity.

This Center is another step in GE’s partnership with MEW to modernize and digitize Kuwait’s electrical network.

The turnkey service solution incorporates the retrofit of ageing transformers with monitoring sensors as well as software installation and support from a GE service expert for customer support and data analysis. This Asset Performance Management solution is an example of GE’s leading digital services and technology.

GE offers the latest in services solutions to manage the health condition of critical assets. From the DGA monitoring center inaugurated today, MEW can visualize the state of their equipment in real-time. The data received enables MEW to predict issues & challenges before they occur. This further strengthens reliability - both for the networks and for the communities MEW serves.

Seen at the opening of the Kuwait Dissolved Gas Analysis Monitoring Center are: Oil Minister and Minister of Electricity & Water His Excellency Dr. Essam Al-Marzouq; Eng.
