RTA holds brainstorming session with strategic partners of commercial transport activities

The Commercial Transport Activities Department of RTA’s Licensing Agency in Dubai has held a brainstorming session with a host of strategic partners namely the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Department of Economic Development, Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation – Tarakhees. The aim of the session was to enhance the implementation of the agreements made with various parties and streamline relevant procedures & transactions. The step was driven by the need to make an added and sustained value that contributes to realising the Dubai Government policies aimed to enhance the integration of services and share expertise between various public and semi-public departments in Dubai.

“The aim of the brainstorming session with RTA’s strategic partners was to overcome obstacles, expedite procedures and sort out all pending issues. The overall objective was to enhance the integration of customer services and promote the culture of team spirit; which will eventually contribute to realising RTA’s 3rd Strategic Goal (People Happiness),” said Nasir Al-Haj, Director of Commercial Transport Activities, RTA Licensing Agency.

“The session reviewed RTA’s organisational chart, strategic goals, consistent commercial policies and the objectives sought by the RTA through this new system such as the streamlining of the business of relevant companies. It also examined the electronic transformation adopted by the RTA and the linking with all entities of relevance to RTA’s business,” added Al-Haj.
