RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has signed an agreement with the Al Habtoor Group (Hospitality Division) whereby the DTC will deploy and operate limousines for hotel guests of the Group. The step conforms to RTA’s strategic drive of boosting the cooperation with the private sector.
The CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation, Dr Yousef Al Ali, and the Vice-Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group Mohammed Al Habtoor co-signed the agreement. Attendees of the signing event included Mohammed Obaid Al-Mulla, Member of Board of Executive Directors of RTA and Chairperson of DTC as well as several senior officials from both parties.
“According to the contract, limousines would be deployed in some of Al Habtoor Group’s hotels, driven by excellent and elegant chauffeurs befitting the hotel environment. They are trained on offering tourist guidance and conversant with all areas of Dubai as needed by residents of Al Habtoor Group Hotels,” commented Al Ali.
“The agreement is intended to leverage the partnership with the private sector towards improving the quality of services offered to the public to a five-star level. Under the contract, DTC would provide the best possible service to hotel guests of the Group comprising VIPs, tourists and others by offering them a variety of luxurious & convenient services,” he added.
Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Mohammed Al Habtoor said, “The limo service would bring added comfort to our guests and visitors as customers would savour an exclusive transit aboard top-of-the-range luxurious vehicles. The service measures up to the needs and expectations of the tourist industry offering clients great mobility experience across Dubai and other Emirates,”
