Food and Beverage Laboratory in Al Ain Hosts UAE University Student Delegation

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: A delegation of women students from the UAE University in Al Ain - Food Science Department visited the Food and Beverage Laboratory in the garden city, a facility affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council’s Central Testing Laboratory (CTL).
During the visit, the students were briefed about the laboratory’s functioning. In addition to highlighting the food safety and security processes followed by the lab, the students were also informed about the technologies and procedures used in the testing and analyses of food products – particularly the technique of microbiological food analysis.
The Central Testing Laboratory (CTL) was established by QCC to provide testing, certification, technical consultation, scientific research and training services for customers from both the private and public sectors in Abu Dhabi. Aligned with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, the facility plays a major role in building indigenous testing capabilities to meet the evolving requirements of the UAE’s industrial sector.
