Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority Holds First Aid Workshop, Complimentary Health Check-Ups

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the regulatory body of Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, organized a first aid workshop in collaboration with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and offered complimentary health check-ups for the whole DSO community, conducted by Beyond Nutrition.

The workshop aimed to educate all family members about the theory and practice of basic first aid, enabling them to respond in emergency situations and deal with a variety of injuries and health conditions in a safe, fast and confident manner. The interactive session was in line with other initiatives by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services – First Aider at Home, targeting housewives, and ‘Freejna’ First Aiders, aimed at everyone.

Meanwhile, Beyond Nutrition, a Dubai-based health and wellness services company, provided health check-ups to Dubai Silicon Oasis staff and residents interested in getting an accurate assessment of their general well-being.

Speaking on the initiative, Haidar Ali, Senior Vice President – People Happiness and Innovation at DSOA, said: “We are proud to collaborate with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and Beyond Nutrition on the latest health campaign under our corporate social responsibility strategy that revolves around three key pillars – community, human capital, and environment. As part of our ongoing efforts to contribute to the UAE’s Year of Giving, the initiative seeks to enhance quality of life through encouraging people to take a step towards good health.”
