CFA Society Emirates Awards 155 New Charterholders at 15th Annual Charter Award Ceremony

Dubai – MENA Herald: On Sunday 26th February, the President and Board of CFA Society Emirates, the local UAE member society of CFA Institute, hosted its 15th Annual Charter Award Ceremony at The Address Dubai Mall.
Mr. Amer Abdul Aziz Khansaheb, CFA, President of CFA Society Emirates, recognised 155 new charterholders in the presence of nearly 250 guests and society members.

Congratulating the new charterholders, Amer Abdul Aziz Khansaheb, CFA, President of CFA Society Emirates, said: “As we welcome 155 new charterholders into CFA Society Emirates, we are proud of our continued growth as a centre for financial and investment excellence in the UAE. Despite challenging market conditions, firms are increasingly aware of the need for adequately qualified professionals in order to remain competitive. Over the remainder of 2017, we look forward to continue contributing towards the country’s financial industry by promoting prudent investment management and ethical corporate governance.”

To earn the CFA designation, candidates must pass all three levels of the exam (successful candidates often report dedicating in excess of 300 hours of study per level); meet the work experience requirements of four years in the investment industry; sign a commitment to abide by the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct; and become a member of CFA Institute.
