Dubai - MENA Herald: Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) has collaborated with Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) to roll-out an initiative called ‘Gift of Light’ which encourages goodwill among the community with the purpose of bringing a smile to the faces of orphans.

As a part of this initiative, a dedicated website has been set up - www.ducabgiftoflight.com. Visitors to the page are invited to leave a positive message that helps light up a child’s day. For every message posted on the page, Ducab will donate US$1 to the orphans under AMAF’s care.

These initiatives serve the local community and reflect the humanitarian vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”

He added: “I would like to commend Ducab’s proactive efforts in helping the needy and giving back to the community as a part of its distinctive social responsibility mandate. I invite the community to visit the website in large numbers and contribute a few positive words in support of our orphans”.
