Tuesday 17 November 2015

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: The Zayed Future Energy Prize, the UAE’s international prize for energy and sustainability pioneers, recently launched its #ActionSpeaksLouder campaign. The social media campaign calls on people from the UAE and across the globe to like, share, and download their ‘call to action’ images if they support the aim to find a global agreement at the COP21 climate talks taking place in Paris in December.

The images feature esteemed members of the prize’s Jury committee, including Sir Richard Branson, and a collection of previous winners that span the eight years that the prize has been in existence. If you would like to be part of this campaign please follow @ZFEP on twitter or look out for #ActionSpeaksLouder across social media platforms.

In December, world leaders meet in Paris for the COP21 Climate Conference. These negotiations will set the agenda surrounding climate action for decades to come. The UAE’s leadership in this field means the country plays a pivotal role in turning this opportunity into action.

The campaign will run from now until the middle of December to coincide with the end of the COP21 meeting.
