Dubai - MENA Herald: SAP Middle East and North Africa has been officially certified as the top employer in the Middle East region by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings.

The annual, international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices. SAP has been awarded the exclusive Top Employers Middle East and Saudi Arabia 2016 Certification.

“Creating a diverse and inclusive culture makes us a better company, fueling our innovation, enhancing our experience of work, and enabling us to succeed in a rapidly changing world,” said Nelly Boustany, Head of Human Resources, SAP MENA.

“As companies undergo digital transformations, functions and processes, including Human Resources, are being radically reinvented. And with that reinvention, Human Resources will assume a new kind of leadership role helping to shape the workforce of tomorrow,” added Nelly Boustany.

The Top Employers Institute globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people. It has just announced the results of this year’s research into the employee conditions of significant employers worldwide.

SAP Middle East is one of the select organizations to achieve the Top Employers Middle East Certification, and is delighted to be officially recognized as a leading employer.

“I am very proud of this achievement for SAP in the region. The official certification from Top Employers in 2016 confirms SAP MENA is on the right path, offering the conditions for our people - our greatest asset – to thrive and succeed, along with our customers, in this digital era,” said Tayfun Topkoc, Managing Director, SAP UAE.

“The UAE is fast-tracking nationwide digital transformation, and we are delivering best practices in developing the next generation of Emirati leaders. SAP employees need the technology, teamwork, and problem-solving skills for our employees to be successful in driving digital transformation among our channel partners, University Alliance Partners, and customers,” added Tayfun Topkoc.

Crucial to the Top Employers Certification is the completion of a stringent research process, and meeting the required standard in order to achieve Certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified SAP Middle East’s outstanding employee conditions and earned them a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.

The Top Employers Institute assessed SAP Middle East’s employee offerings on the following criteria:
• Talent Strategy
• Workforce Planning
• On-Boarding
• Learning & Development
• Performance Management
• Leadership Development
• Career & Succession Management
• Compensation & Benefits
• Culture

SAP also received the prestigious certification in ten countries and two regions: Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, UK, and Europe for achieving certification in five countries and the Middle East for its certification in three countries.

Dennis Utter, Global Business Director for the Top Employers Institute: “Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. Our comprehensive research concluded that SAP Middle East provides an outstanding employment environment, and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programs that are well thought out, and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”
