RETAIL FUEL BUSINESS TO BE FOCUS OF NEW CONFERENCE BEING HOSTED BY ENOC DURING MPGC WEEK 2017

Dubai - MENA Herald: A new one and half day conference on the retail fuel and downstream industry will be launched during MPGC Week 2017 by Conference Connection and ENOC. To be addressed by leading retail fuel and downstream specialists, the Inaugural Middle East Retail & Downstream Conference (MRDC 2017) will be held on 3-4 May 2017 in Dubai, under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
MRDC 2017 will be opened by His Excellency Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Energy, UAE and chaired by Mr. Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director-Retail of ENOC.
A distinguished faculty from GCC will address the retail and downstream marketing in the post price liberalization era. Leading industry players and experts from Africa, Middle East, Asia and Europe will also look at the entire retail fuel industry supply chain challenges and opportunities. MRDC 2017 will provide topic coverage ranging from internationalization of fuel retail, product supply, technology for payment systems, alternative fuels, and evolution of retail facilities. A half-day site visit to the GCC’s only “green” petrol station will take place on the afternoon of May 4.
The early confirmed speakers to date include: Mr. Hussain Bin Jama Al Ishaqi, GM Retail, Fuel Card & Regional Offices of OOMCO, Mr. Mirko Rubeis, Partner & Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group, Mr. Amjad Rahhal, Automotive Services Manager (IT) of ENOC, Mr. Nadim Khoury, Co-Founder of Beam Wallet, Mr. Hitendra Bisht, Convenience Store Manager of ENOC, and Mr. Jaouhar Jamoussi, GM Africa, Middle East & Turkey of Wayne Fueling Systems.
This conference is expected to be attended by regional operators, retailers and distributors from National & International Oil Companies, municipal corporations, operators of equipment, technology and point of service providers as well high volume franchise owners/operators. It should be of interest to supporting organisations specialising in the downstream retail and transportation and as well as those specialising in payment systems, fleet cards and customer loyalty programmes.

Profiling the transformation of the Middle East as an emerging downstream retail hub, MRDC 2017 is co-located with the 25th Annual Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference (MPGC 2017) which is the longest running annual oil and gas conference in the region. MRDC 2017 will be held during the Middle East Petroleum & Gas Week (MPGC Week 2017) which runs from April 29 – May 4, 2017 in Dubai.
