Dubai - MENA Herald: More than 20 prepaid experts took centre stage and shared their success strategies at the recently concluded Prepaid Summit: Middle East and Africa 2016, the Annual Prepaid Conference and Awards in association with Visa in Dubai.

“Put customers at the forefront of all the plans” came out as the clear message from the experts for anyone who is in the business of prepaid.

Local players such as Network International and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank shared how their research anticipated evolving to the needs of their customers before launching new products and services.

Their sentiment was validated by several Middle Eastern solution and service providers including Fares Antoun, Head of Cards at Bank of Beirut, who shared how the bank grew a remittance linked prepaid service which has now grown to be extremely successful.

The experts recommended using cloud and mobile based services to innovate and cater to the convenience and needs of customers as a very vital strategy for the future.

Summit brought innovation and proven strategies to the forefront of prepaid’s future in Middle East and Africa

More than 120 leading companies attended the one day conference where over 20 experts from the region and across the globe came together to discuss how prepaid is evolving and what lies ahead.

The conference, sponsored by Visa, GTP, i2C and EBankIT, also featured an awards ceremony that recognised the developments made by the prepaid sector and performance achieved over the past 12 months with a specific selection criteria for each award.
