Jafza seeks to boost German presence in the Free Zone

Dubai - MENA Herald: Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), the flagship Free Zone of Dubai and an established trade and logistics hub for the wider Middle East region, seeks to attract more German companies into the Free Zone. With this objective the Free Zone is conducting a 7-day roadshow in Germany that covers important industry and commercial centres such as Cologne, Dortmund and Munich.

Ibrahim Mohamed Aljanahi, Deputy CEO of Jafza and Chief Commercial Officer of Economic Zones World (EZW), the parent company of the Free Zone, is leading Jafza team at the roadshow. Jafza is also attending Anuga 2015, the world´s leading food fair for the retail trade and the food service and catering market, taking place in Cologne.

Commenting on the Jafza roadshow in Germany HE Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of DP World ‎and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation said:‎

Ibrahim Mohamed Aljanahi commenting on Jafza roadshow in Germany said:

Most of the German companies have set up their regional headquarters in the Free Zone from where they serve all key markets in MEASA (Middle East, Africa, South Asia) efficiently, leveraging Jafza’s excellent facilities, business driven eco-system and outstanding multi-modal connectivity that it offers by virtue of being located between the region’s largest seaport and airport and having direct access to world-class intra-regional road network.”

Jafza plans to meet major players in the food and beverage sector in Europe during the Anuga exhibition.

Jafza team will also be participating in a business seminar in Munich organised by Dubai Exports.
