Dubai - MENA Herald: Conforming to Dubai Plan 2021 to reinforce and develop capabilities of people to ensure the emirate’s further progress and growth, Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities, environment and energy management solutions in the GCC, recently organised its first-ever High Potential Program called TATWIR. Meaning ‘Development’ in Arabic, TATWIR is a uniquely designed initiative that aims to identify, develop and retain high potential talent within the organization to drive forward its vision and strategies. The event, which was attended by Imdaad’s management and promising employees, received tremendous response.
TATWIR follows a highly structured approach of assessing Imdaad’s outstanding employees through feedbacks, workshops, focus groups, and assignments and projects, which will help the management to facilitate their comprehensive development. The High Potential Program explores employees’ journey towards excellence, supports them in exploiting their inner strengths, and aids in identifying and developing other skills such as creative problem solving, decision making, and leadership qualities. Aside from professional excellence and growth of employees, the initiative focuses on educational and personal development along with healthy lifestyle so that they can be active and productive participants in fulfilling their responsibilities towards themselves, their families, and the community.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Imdaad has always believed in the strength and capabilities of its employees and has therefore launched various initiatives in the past to offer them a platform to enhance their skills and voice their opinions. Our latest High Potential Program – TATWIR – is designed to identify employees who demonstrate consistently high performance and offer them sufficient opportunities to improve their skills to become competent, happy, healthy and productive individuals who can take on leadership roles in the future for comprehensive development of the company, Dubai and the UAE. It will also work as a retention program as at Imdaad, we treat employees as invaluable assets and would want them to continue their professional development with us. We are delighted with the warm response received by our debut event and look forward to many more such motivating and interactive programs in the future.”
The TATWIR program was divided into four segments – identification, feedback, workshop and activity-based learning, and projects and assignments. An online psychometric test will be administered as part of the first stage of identifying the five strengths of an employee along with a personality analysis test, followed by a one-on-one feedback, which will lead to further analysis of strengths and personal style. The workshop and activity-based learning stage will also include exercises such as strengths finder, six thinking hats, and fish for leaders. Lastly, the projects and assignments phase will focus on the problem solving skills of employees, which can help employees in further enhancing their creativity and innovation skills.
