Etisalat’s Hello Business provides start-ups with an opportunity to create the ultimate pitch!

Abu Dhabi – MENA Herald: Etisalat, in line with its Hello Business programme, brings“Pitch Please!” - a platform designed to help start-ups in the UAE build strength in areas that impact their business’ growth and success. This will be a part of the agenda of SME Beyond Borders 2016, an event that will bring together entrepreneurs, industry disruptors and investors in a large-scale gathering on October 27th, at the Atlantis Hotel, Palm.
Pitching for finance or resources is a critical activity for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs). According to the Central Bank, in 2015 less than 2% of bank funding went into the SMB sector.

What’s more, the winner will have an opportunity to pitch to an audience of 2,000 decision makers on the main venue stage.
Nathan Gold, one of the world’s most eminent pitch trainers and panelist, added that, “Effective pitching is based on the ability to ask several simple and relevant questions and provide fluent, convincing answers in the heat of competition. The start-up companies selected to pitch will have a three-minute ‘window’, with no room for error or hesitation. The question is can our start-ups be able to do this? We shall see…”
