Dubai - MENA Herald: In line with the National Charter for Happiness and Positivity which is committed to create an appropriate environment for the happiness of an individual, family and community, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised its monthly staff gathering with the happiness theme at the Chamber head office on Sunday. In his welcome address, H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, lauded the efforts and dedication of the staff to their work and urged them to adopt a positive lifestyle in their pursuit of happiness, adding that this approach is in line with the government’s directive to serve the people and make them happy. He also said that the Chamber’s focus is on the employees and customers being happy and satisfied as happy employees are better workers and they serve the customers better. The Chamber last year launched the Sa’adati programme of a happy organisation which identifies internal as well as external parameters for measuring happiness, H.E. Buamim said. The gathering included a presentation on positive living by Mrs. Hala Kazim, founder of Journey Through Change who spoke about positivity and enthusiasm in the workplace while sharing her experience of successfully balancing the role of mother, a wife and a working lady who contributes in the economic growth of the country. The UAE recently celebrated International Day of Happiness which falls on March 20 as the country is currently ranked 28th globally in the World Happiness Index.
