DAFZA participates as Lead Freezone Partner at Automechanika Dubai 2017

Dubai - MENA Herald: The Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) is the lead freezone partner to Automechanika Dubai 2017 which kicked off today (Sunday May 7, 2017) to be held until May 9, 2017, the leading international trade fair for the automotive service industry gathers more than 2000 exhibitors from all over the globe. The partnership between DAFZA and Automechanika underscores the role of the freezone in supporting foreign investments and encouraging investors to make Dubai the regional base for their Middle East operations.

DAFZA’s participation at Automechanika Dubai 2017 focuses on highlighting opportunities for supporting investors in the after-market trade, in light of Dubai’s strong reputation as a major gateway for local, international and multinational companies eyeing to expand their business in the UAE and Dubai. DAFZA will be organizing a series of networking activities at its stand (B12), as well as conducting meetings with leading companies and investors. This follows the freezone’s successful participation at Automechanika Frankfurt 2016 which focused on strengthening trade ties and signing business deals with leading German companies as well as attracting the world's leading automotive companies where DAFZA now is the regional headquarters and strategic center for more than 45 top international car brands, Toyota Tsusho, Yamaha Motors, PSA Group, TOW Automotive Middle East & Africa FZCO, and many others.

Currently being held at the Dubai World Trade Center, Automechanika Dubai 2017 is the latest edition of the largest international automotive after-market trade show for the wider Middle East. It aims to shed light on the latest services and products in the after-market service market in the region by connecting manufacturers, international suppliers and distributors, and local buyers.
