Wednesday 04 May 2016

Dubai - MENA Herald: Orange County Visitors Association (OCVA) in California, has gone all out to entice more visitors to experience the fun of a Southern California summer by expanding its value-added discounts and vouchers program exclusive for visitors from the Middle East. The expanded benefits were launched in conjunction with the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which is being held at the Dubai International Convention Centre from April 25 – 28, 2016, and will be provided to visitors through the OC & ME card, which is provided free to visitors from the Middle East staying at an OC hotel or resort booked by an IATA registered Middle East travel agent signed up to the OC&ME campaign.

In addition to the exclusive benefits that the OC&ME card already offers, such as complimentary VIP personal shopper experiences, gifts with purchase and discount vouchers at the OC’S premier retails destinations of South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island and Irvine Spectrum, the OC&ME card will now also offer an extended offering of value at South Coast Plaza which has increased its discounts to 20% and expanded the number of retail partners, within South Coast Plaza, where the card is accepted.

Additionally, travel agents booking car hire for their clients staying in OC hotels and resorts through leading car rental broker Flexible Autos, will provide Middle Eastern visitors with complimentary additional free driver service, which means the cost of registering a second person to drive the hired vehicle is waivered and provided for free.

The expanded OC&ME benefits take effect immediately and are valid until 31 December 2016.

Combined with the fantastic savings that the OC&ME card offers, the OCVA will promote Orange County as the ultimate summer destination, offering family fun, fine art events and fairs. A number of key fairs and events not to be missed include:

Huntington Beach – Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance (June 4th & June 5th, 2016)

Laguna Beach - PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS (July 7 – August 31)

The Pageant of the Masters is arguably one of the most unique productions in the entire world. Audiences are amazed and enchanted by ninety minutes of tableaux vivants (“living pictures”), incredibly faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. A live narrator guides patrons through the story of each living picture accompanied by a full orchestra.

The 2016 Pageant will feature artworks from many nations including France, Spain, Sweden, Italy and Mexico, in search of memorable art made possible by partnerships – between husbands and wives, artists and models, even artists and their patrons. This theatrical and musical journey will also consider how partnership can become an ideal subject for masterpieces devoted to family, love and courtship, as well as historical, scientific and even fictional quests.

Costa Mesa - Orange County Fair (July 15th -August 14th 2016)

For its 2016 season, the OC Fair wants everyone to “Get Your Fair Face On!” and show your happy, wowed and thrilled faces while enjoying a full day of fun at the Fair with animals of all kinds, musical performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre and The Hangar, events in the Action Sports Arena, beautiful exhibits, delicious Fair treats and carnival rides. The 23-day event features shopping, exhibits, hands-on activities and contests.
