Dubai - MENA Herald: BOXPARK, the offbeat destination by Meraas celebrates the 44th UAE National Day with a vibrant display of graffiti walls created live on-site along with exciting entertainment for visitors from Wednesday, 2 December until Saturday, 5 December 2015.
Embrace the national spirit at the funky district, as four acclaimed graffiti artists aim to create a striking UAE-themed artwork on site from 2.00pm to 6.30pm. From 5.00pm to 11.00pm, LED dance performances and traditional cultural demonstrations by Al Ayallah dancers infuse a patriotic flair that sets the mood for the National Day celebrations.
Furthermore, a dedicated area within the kids park near Logma will host a variety of fun activities for children including face painting and awe-inspiring cotton candy artist from 5.30pm to 10.00pm through the four-day festivities.
All through Wednesday, 2 December and Thursday, 3 December from 10.00am to 10.00pm a hospitality tent will serve Emirati refreshments and treats while another will offer henna art for visitors to the destination to enjoy.
Between 29 November and 9 December, from 6pm to 6am, a unique LED display reflecting the colours of the UAE flag will brilliantly illuminate the hip lifestyle concept.
For the UAE, a rapid decline in Ghaf trees and woodlands in recent years has implied a deterioration of its cultural and natural heritage. Doing its part to revive the proliferation of the UAE’s national tree, BOXPARK will distribute Ghaf seeds with a simple guide on planting them across the asset.
BOXPARK incorporates over 200 brightly-coloured containers and features an alternative architectural design with a funky, industrial vibe to set the tone for a cool collection of offbeat experiences along the street side.
