RAKICC CEO delivers keynote address at Mauritius Africa Business Club in latest international push

A delegation from RAK International Corporate Centre (“RAKICC”), a premium corporate registry for International Business Companies (“IBCs”), travelled to Mauritiusin its latest effort to engage with international businessesseeking to learn more about commercial opportunities in the UAE.

The delegation was led by CEO Joe Moynihan who served as keynote speaker to discuss the evolving environment of international business and financial centres for Africa, as well as the benefits of incorporating in the UAE, specifically Ras Al Khaimah.

Commenting on the visit, Joe Moynihan, CEO of RAKICC, said: “We are grateful to the Mauritius Africa Business Club for the opportunity to engage with the African business community. The UAE and Mauritius enjoy strong links through travel, trade and commerce, and we expect these links to grow even closer in the coming years. Mauritius has emerged as a standout African economy, recording 3.8% GDP growth in 2016.

The UAE and Mauritius enjoy a number of strong commercial links, as both countries benefit from a number of bilateral taxation and investment agreements to promote commerce between the two countries.
