Dubai - MENA Herald:

Dubai Media City, the region’s largest community dedicated to the media industry, hosted 100 students from the Arab Youth Center as part of its Young Arab Media Leaders programme, an intensive three-day media training initiative to develop the skills and competencies of young Arab media professionals.

In addition to field visits to local and international media organisations, the participants, representing 19 countries, were provided training on the basics of photography and taking 360-degree photos. The training programme packed an agenda of workshops, debates, lectures and seminars to further the participants’ knowledge of the dynamic media industry. Participants gained insights into US cable and satellite news channel CNN’s policy of collecting news and mobilising resources. Media experts conducting the training also highlighted the significance of social networking platforms in the news dissemination business today.

The Arab Youth Center was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs, during the World Government Summit 2017.
