Middle East remains one of the emerging markets for Maldives with a total share of 3.4%. In the year 2015 a total of 41,976 tourists from Middle East visited Maldives. Compared to arrivals figures in 2014 this is an increase of 12.8%. Looking into arrivals for 2016 a steady growth is observed. In January 2016 an increase of 11.7% was observed and for February 2016, 8.9% increase of arrivals was recorded.

The Maldives is well known for its breath taking vistas, its nature and its enigmatic underwater attractions. The island nation also offers excellent diving spots with an array of outdoor activities such as snorkeling, surfing and fishing.

The Maldives stand is located in Sheikh Saeed Hall 03, Stand Number AS3050. The venue for 22nd Arabian Travel Market is the renowned Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
