From his side, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of Dubai DERMA and Member of the Executive Board said: “over the past 16 years, we have successfully attracted thousands of doctors, professors, specialists and technicians working in the field of dermatology and skincare to Dubai while organizing “Dubai DERMA” conference and exhibition which is now the largest specialized event in this field in the region. We are also very proud to launch the Academy today, which will be the source and the reference for not only doctors, but also a great reference for all community members.”

More than 200 individuals and associations have registered already. Moreover, all members will have special privileges while participating in the workshops and educational sessions that the Academy will organise.

Dr. Ibrahim illustrated on this matter and said: “one of our main objectives through establishing the academy is that it will be a trusted reference for community members to get referrals and recommendations on the best dermatology and laser practitioners in each country. We want to protect them from being the victims of false and misleading advertisement that promote unlicensed centers and doctors.”
