“The return of the Young Global Leaders Summit - an inspiring youth motivational conference - to Ras Al Khaimah will see an exciting panel of experts and keynote speakers from a range of industries aimed engage young people in the emirate and the wider UAE,” said Haitham Mattar, CEO, RAKTDA, whose involvement is part of its drive to align itself with youth empowerment and innovation.

Driving debate on ‘Leadership, the Youth and Entrepreneurship’, Essam Al Tamimi, the respected Emirati businessman and founder of Tamimi & Co, will lead a panel of actors, authors and business leaders in a discussion on the merits of developing young leaders of the future.

“As senior business leaders, we have a responsibility to ensure that our young entrepreneurs are provided with the tools and support they need to succeed and achieve their goals. The UAE has shined under the leadership of past generations and the youth must continue to shine in all walks of leadership. The youth is our future and I’m very excited to be involved in an event that will help shape the country’s future,” Al Tamimi noted.

Anticipating a greater level of debate and discussion this year, Lorenzo Jooris, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Leaders Middle East, noted that the calibre of speakers is a testament to the event’s inaugural outing last year.

“The line-up of speakers and discussion topics are sure to spur interesting debate this year and I encourage young people across the UAE to get involved in the second instalment of this exciting series. The Young Global Leaders Summit in Ras Al Khaimah is still a young event, yet has already received significant recognition from the business community. It is the ideal platform to network and gain knowledge of the ever-changing region we live in,” Jooris added.
