ENOC wins three awards at the annual CIPS Supply Management Awards

Dubai - MENA Herald: The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has received three prestigious awards during the annual Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Supply Management Awards held at The Address Dubai Marina recently.

ENOC was recognised as the “Overall Winner” for 2016 in addition to two team categories called “Best People Development” and “Best Supplier Relationship Management”. The acknowledgement came for the Group’s exceptional efforts and performance in procurement proficiency and transparency in doing businesses in the supply chain management.

“We are honoured to be recognised by the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply, the leading global institution for supply chain management. The awards demonstrate our relentless efforts and continuous improvement in the procurement and supply management domains, which are two main indicators for the successes of oil and gas companies, especially in the Middle East region and with what it affords of geopolitical flexibility and challenges at the same time,” said H.E. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC.

The awards were yet another benchmark of excellence for the fully integrated global oil and gas company, which has been notably deploying new development projects in the Emirate whilst expanding supply and service networks across the UAE and the region.

In addition to the awards ceremony event, the CIPS Supply Management Awards also discussed deeply-rooted issues and provided insights, lively debates, on the current procurement and supply challenges in the region. An estimated 45 organisations participated in this year’s awards, with 11 different categories for corporates and individuals.
