In addition, through the support of several industry pioneers and collaborations with niche groups, such as mums@work, Careers UAE will provide Emiratis with inspirational panel discussions and workshops on setting goals, how to dream big, and addressing inherent challenges when entering, moving up, or re-entering the workplace.

Among several partners at the 2019 exhibition, Jobs4Nationals.com will be arranging live video training sessions, while Bayt.com will be providing career counselling and a CV clinic for any UAE national looking to enter the workforce or switch careers.

“Video interviews are fast becoming today’s preferred interview style because they speed up a previously lengthy, multiple round, interview process,” said Danish Haidri, Founder & CEO of Jobs4Nationals.com – the local representatives for Sonru. “Our aim at the fair will be to give young Emiratis the necessary skills to successfully conduct themselves through a video interview which is the crucial first stage in getting noticed. Elements to consider include what to wear, how to approach the camera, how to choose the right background and how to troubleshoot difficult questions.”

Careers UAE 2019 will also include value-added features to boost the visitor experience. In addition to interactive activities, the show will roll out the Talent Hunt 2019 in partnership with online internship placement agency Oliv, where visitors get face-to-face time with hiring managers from major exhibitors in a speed interview format.

For the first time, visitors will be able to upload their CVs which will be stored on their show wristband when they enter the show so that they don’t need to bring CVs. Exhibitors can simply scan the wristbands and receive the CVs electronically. Careers UAE 2019 is exclusively for UAE nationals and HR practitioners.
